Two Requests
|
First let me thank those who have already offered encouragement and support to my campaign for the NC House. I have been humbled by the kind generosity of so many. Every day people are stepping forward to help. Every day the campaign is growing into a strong organization that will have what it takes to defeat the incumbent and the Obama-machine. We are off to a strong start, but it is only the beginning.
As we close 2011 and begin this critical election year, I have two requests.
Will you donate by December 31st?
This seat is a top target for both parties, so it will likely cost over $150,000 to win. I need your support by the end of the month to demonstrate my credibility on the year-end financial report. That report is what election handicappers use to measure a candidate's strength, and it will be particularly significant as it will be my first financial report. So if you are planning to support my campaign at some point, I ask that you please donate by December 31st. Whether that's $1,000 or $50, every little bit helps!

As the campaign heats up next year, it's important that we have a wide following on Facebook to keep everyone updated on the campaign's progress and to help us reach out to additional friends and supporters. Facebook provides an easy format for sending out information about our campaign and making sure we can set the record straight with my views on the issues. If you've already joined the campaign on Facebook, please share the campaign with your friends, along with a brief note why you're supporting me. I'm counting on friends like you to help get out the word, and online platforms like Facebook are one of the easiest, most effective ways to do that.
